Becoming the mother your child needs, is a journey.

On that journey, keep in mind that God entrusted you with your children. He has poured out enough grace for your motherhood journey.

I know there are times when you just feel worn out, like you’re alone, or that it’s just too much. But I encourage you to trust God with your portion.

And if no one has told you, I want to let you know that you’re doing a great job as a mom!

I've noticed that when I want to step away for a m

I've noticed that when I want to step away for a moment, he clings to me the most. I'm then reminded that I had to adjust to change-- in my case change in my quiet time. There are times when I get to be alone, but majority of the time, I have a little human with me.

He doesn't understand when mommy is talking out loud, he looks at me like I'm crazy lol, but one day he will learn about prayer.

He definitely doesn't understand when I at times, pray in The Spirit, but one day, and I pray when he is young, he will understand what it means to be baptized -- not just in the water but being baptized with The Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

He doesn't understand the book that he wanted to hold so bad today lol. Right now, to him it's just a big book with pages easy to rip-- but one day he will understand the power that book holds, and The Creator of it.

God has taught me to be patient, but intentional in showing my child the way. So little by little, and with much prayer, I know that one day, I will be blessed with seeing the little seeds planted, grow within my son.

Long suffering is a fruit of The Spirit that many

Long suffering is a fruit of The Spirit that many Christians quench due to the uncomfortableness.

One misconception about following Jesus is that we think life will now be easy. That because we gave our life to Christ, we will no longer have hardships and everything will be peachy cream. Many Christians believe they don’t deserve to suffer and that’s when we begin to walk down a path of pride and arrogance.

Who are we to be spared suffering when Jesus Himself experienced long suffering when He got on that cross to die for our sins. Even while knowing we would still sin against Him before coming to His truth, and some even turning their backs completely from Him and denying His truth.

He took the chance on us and experienced the absolute definition of long suffering and endured because He knew the end of the story.

As believers, we too know the end of the story, Jesus wins and we get to join in His victory.

See when we know the ending, how we already have the victory through Jesus, we can endure and count it all joy because we know our Savior will take care of us at the end of the day.

It won’t be an easy road that’s for sure, but I encourage you, that whatever you’re going through COUNT. IT. ALL. JOY! We are called to be set apart and that even means we must handle what life throws at us differently. So embrace that piece of fruit and let it blossom you even closer to Jesus with an abundance of faith.

Because His Word says, we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed. We are perplexed, but not in despair. Persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down but not destroyed.

See our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works in us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
