Great is thy faithfulness.

image1-1I thank God for His faithfulness. I also thank God for His patience. Most importantly, I thank God for His timing.

Something I have learned during my portion of a process, is that God is faithful! I didn’t truly understand just how faithful until this year. It’s so cliché to say that He may not come when we want Him to, but He will be there at the right time; but it is a true statement. God’s timing for events in our lives are strategic and purposeful. If we say that satan strategically plots to destroy us, I believe God strategically arranges divine happenings in our lives, according to His perfect will. That is why we are encouraged through God’s Word to wait on the Lord, to trust that God will provide, and to remember that in due season we will reap that which we have sown.

It’s important that we wait on God, and not run ahead of His timing. When we run ahead, we risk interfering with His Will. We risk taking on tasks and burdens not meant for us. We risk missing out on what God had for us. We must learn to be patient and to worship and serve God in the middle of waiting. Let me make this clear: waiting does not mean become idle, I repeat, waiting does not mean to become idle. While you wait on God, make sure you are doing your part; serving, studying your word, building your prayer life, and working on yourself. If we get so caught up on what God is GOING to do, we miss what He is doing right now.

When we get caught up in the promises, we forget to pay attention to what it takes to get to it. We interpret specific promises from God through dreams, visions, prophetic messages, etc., and immediately get excited for what is to come. Then as time pass and reality sets in, weariness and impatience begins to lead us into doubt. Which then leads us to question if what we heard was from God or if it was just our minds. However, faint not, God has not forgotten about you and He will fulfill His promise. “But when”, you may ask numerous times, but the answer that is when God sees you’re ready. So I ask you, are you doing your part by remaining faithful and planting seeds of praise serving, and good works,as you wait?

Remember, God is faithful and will always fulfill His part. So trust Him during the process. Continue trusting Him and walking by faith, even when “it” looks impossible. Whatever you do, remain faithful as you wait for your promise to arrive. Do not allow your fears to drive you out of His will. Trust God and I can’t stress it enough but trust your process is bringing you closer to your destiny.

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 KJV

“There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.” Joshua 21:45 KJV

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.” Psalm 37:7 KJV
